Huh hello everyone.
Had 2nd physio yesterday - am able to straighten my knee ThumpUp not able to bend my kneeThumbDown sitting on chair/bed can lift leg up and back with good measurements, but sitting on bed trying to lift knee on my own isn't good - rome wasn't built in a day.
Crutches causing great pain/having flare up. Physio ordering different crutches more suited to arthritis users - next week hopefully.
No more physio until I see the surgeon because not a lot can be done until I'm signed off with him.
Going careful not to weight bear on operated knee, don't want a fracture.

Well done Jane - it sounds like things are progressing as well as expected. EArly days, but hopefully you'll see steady improvements day by day.

Love to you all - Sylvia xx

Surgeon appointment good last week, no longer partial weightbear..on crutches still. Physio impressed with my exercises and ranges of bend in my knee.
Booked onto a knee replacement exercise class.
Despite ra pain and swelling I'm so happy to be given a gift of new knee and feel that I owe it to the nhs to be mobile and use my lovely gift Smile

I have 6 more weeks off sick, my knee gives way but that is part and parcel of major surgery just need to build up muscles and off I go BigGrin
